JUANITA DHARMAZI

Creativity is about taking something common and presenting this in an uncommon and unique way.
My great passion is bringing creativity into reality by creating beautiful and functional products that are accessible to many people.

 

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, a beautiful nation with a rich culture and ethnic diversity. Due to my
love for art and creativity, I moved to the United States of America to pursue my degree in graphic design. Upon graduation, I embarked on a journey to the Big Apple and I fell in love with this fascinating, exuberant and culturally diverse city- NEW YORK. The city is a perfect outlet for me to discover new inspirations, a creative approach to design, and an opportunity to collaborate with other great thinkers.

 

Since the early days of my career, I have worked and explored my talent and creative mindset, which
has enabled me to sharpen my skills in the design industry. I was blessed to serve as the Creative Director at Galison, an award-winning stationery and gift company in New York City. My position at Galison gave me greater understanding about the design world and an opportunity to share ideas
with so many wonderful and talented group of artists, art foundation, museums, buyers and retailers.
To name a few were the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Keith Haring Foundation, the Cooper Hewitt Museum, the National Gallery of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Anthropologie, and Barnes and Noble.

 

To this moment, I continue to explore my creative endeavor by staying inspired as a visionary and a designer, along with my other task, as a director of operations for two inquisitive kids.
