THE COOPER HEWITT 

The Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in Manhattan, New York City is a popular venue due to its uniqueness on having both historical and contemporary design. The wide variety of displays that focus on textiles, patterns and design objects relate to over 200 years, provide inspiration to create its unique stationery pieces.

As such, The Cooper Hewitt Stationery Collection was developed in order to make the museum’s diverse collection and popular pieces available in the form of practical everyday items. The project includes an Object of the Day’s postcard book that displays 30 pages of artfully designed objects that represent a wide range of era and style. Another popular hit is the boxed pattern notecard, containing a rich selection of colorful wallpaper, textile, and prints, packaged in the durable box. Lastly, the collection features journals in eco-friendly, FSC-certified paper combining bold and playful design patterns.
